This course offers a professional training course in Project Finance Mechanics. This course provides participants with a practical understanding of how to successfully apply project finance techniques to projects, with a particular focus on risk analysis and management. This course consists of interactive sessions covering all project finance tools. The course begins with an introductory discussion of the skills and general objectives of project finance analysis, with an emphasis on the difficulty of measuring and evaluating risk. Balance sheet analysis of project financing transactions is treated similarly to valuation and credit analysis. Participants will build a basic project finance model and familiarize themselves with the structure, equity cash flow, and free cash flow. Additionally, as a prelude to hands-on work on comprehensive models, participants will explore and discuss modeling errors, model layouts, and best-practice spreadsheet conventions. Finally, the program addresses covenants and risk analysis and mitigation of project finance. This course is provided by a team of internationally experienced financial management group.
