The marine environment is generally very important to human life, and the use of seas for the benefit of humanity dates back to ancient times. The significance of seas and the marine environment lies in their role in achieving climate balance. Seas and oceans have a high specific heat capacity, allowing them to absorb large amounts of heat from solar energy. This exposure to sunlight leads to the evaporation of water, which then moves with the wind, forming clouds that drift toward land. Under the influence of the wind, this results in rainfall.
