This course presents a training course about Software concept and development as there is a need to get acquainted with the objects which rely on computer works and how they have become much more productive nowadays. Data of Information Revolution are continuously developed. Computers have included over time more capabilities, less cost and their sizes have become smaller. Regarding software and applications, many software programs can operate any process in any field and information transmission processes have become easier through using modern media; especially the Digital Modern Media, represented in Satellites System. Companies have been significantly affected by this development. As a result, Information Economy has appeared.
Computer System in Information Technology (IT) consists of two parts; devices and equipment. This is in addition to software which are required for computers to be operated. Software enables computers to enter and manipulate data according to specific instructions leading to obtain accurate outputs. Software has been developed over years from Patch Processing Systems to database and multi-user management systems until the access to artificial intelligence systems and expert systems which are used nowadays.
